Flip a Coin

Settle it fairly: heads or tails, decided by your browser’s secure random generator. Tap to flip as many times as you like.

🔒 Picked on your device
What “picked on your device” means for this tool

When you open this page, your browser downloads the picker itself, the same way any web page loads. From then on, every spin, flip and roll happens inside your browser, on your own device. The names you type are never sent to this website's server or to anyone else.

Fair and random: results come from your browser's built-in secure random number generator (the same kind used for passwords), not a predictable pattern. Every entry has an equal chance. Nobody, including this website, can steer the result.

What is saved: your list of names is remembered in this browser only, so it's there when you come back. Clearing your browsing data removes it.

What the server does see: like any website, the server that delivers this page sees basic connection details such as your IP address and which page was requested. Never your names.

Visit counting: this site counts visits with privacy-friendly analytics. No cookies, no ads, no tracking across other sites, and your IP address is not stored. It records which page you opened, your country, your device type, how long you stayed and when you download a result, never the file or anything in it.

Questions

Is this coin flip really 50/50?

Yes. It uses the same secure random generator browsers use for passwords, so neither side is favored.

Can I flip several times?

Yes. Keep tapping; the counts are shown so you can do best of three or five.

Does it need the internet?

Only to load the page. After that it works offline.
